DERM Lab is conveniently located in North Vancouver’s Central Lonsdale area. You’ll find us in Office 320 of the Centerview Building (beside Whole Foods and across from the Fire Hall) on 13th Street, just east of Lonsdale. From the main lobby, take the elevator to the 3rd floor.
Pay parking is available underground in the Centreview Building. Don’t forget to pay for parking before coming to see us. There are pay stations located outside the door to the elevator rooms. You can also use the HANGTAG app to pay for parking via your smartphone.
Our building’s state-of-the-art elevators require you to select your floor before entering the elevator. You’ll see two computer panels outside the elevators, then press 3 for DERM Lab. The panel will then tell which of the elevators to get on.
While we make every effort to see appointments on time, unexpected events or procedures may cause us to run behind. We appreciate your understanding and patience so that we can provide the best care to all our patients while they are here.
We understand that despite your best intentions, you may be running late. If possible, please call or email to let us know. We’ll do our best to accommodate you when you arrive. But as a courtesy to other patients who arrive on time, you may need to wait until the doctor can see you. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
BC’s Medical Services Plan (MSP) covers medical dermatology appointments, provided you are referred by your family doctor or another physician. However, MSP coverage may not apply to treatments considered optional or cosmetic. During your appointment, your dermatologist will discuss treatment options and associated fees.
If you miss a medical appointment or do not provide 2 business days’ notice (excluding weekends) to cancel or reschedule a medical appointment, a $150 fee will apply.
BC’s Medical Services Plan (MSP) does not cover cosmetic dermatology appointments. An initial cosmetic consultation fee of $150 applies, with no charge for follow-up appointments. Please note, your dermatologist cannot address medical concerns during a cosmetic consultation. Instead, patients will be referred for medical dermatology.
If you miss a medical appointment or do not provide 2 business days’ notice (excluding weekends) to cancel or reschedule a medical appointment, a $150 fee will apply.
We accept debit, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and DERM Lab Gift Cards. We do not accept cash.
